Influencer Immersion.

Sperry had a last minute request to address multiple needs. Could we marry a cause marketing opportunity with an influencer campaign, all the while supporting a seasonal product launch + look book deliverable? Yes we can!!!

The Trip.

We customized a brand ambassador experience on board The Sea Dragon,  a 70’ scientific research vessel off the coast of Antigua. Our group of influencer’s studied the effects of plastic pollution in the ocean and its surrounding landscape with environmental steward Emily Penn. 

We combined this authentic adventure with the newest line of Sperry apparel and footwear, maximizing the production and seasonal product storytelling.


Content, Content, Content.

Influencer’s gathered their own content to share once they returned home and Sperry products were available on line. They kept journals of what they learned. The brand had their head of social on the boat as well, sharing the story behind the scenes. The nimble and talented production crew captured stills and video content all day, every day and we produced a look book shoot the last day of the trip, using our talent as models, gathering details and breadth of the line. 

 

When I asked Kim and Adrienne to solve for multiple brand needs in one solution under a tight timeline, they SO delivered. They created a one-of-a-kind experience for consumers, fed the brand with blog content and created a new social narrative for the season. All of this centered around a smart, efficient and thoughtful production approach. They truly make the impossible, possible!

The iconic boat shoe brand came calling when they needed a quick turnaround on holiday 2020. With a new CEO at the helm they wanted a campaign that had a storyline AND celebrated the product. We had two weeks to concept and prep for a shoot.

Seasonal Stormtroopers. 

We jumped right in with the simple brief of creating something youthful, colorful, energizing, ownable and optimistic. We concepted a virtual holiday party inviting consumers to feel a part of the fun spreading cheer across the season. We called on our trusted partners to quickly source wardrobe and snow and everything merry and bright. We worked with Sperry’s internal ecom and creative teams driving design and copywriting. We directed a 3-day shoot including table-top and lifestyle with the creation of five different sets for six different models to play in. From the first drop of falling snow we knew we had a gorgeous campaign to deliver.

This holiday season, we knew that 35% of consumers would we shopping earlier than ever and 68% planned to increase their retail purchases. So our FAST and COMPREHENSIVE campaign launch on November 5th enabled Sperry to capitalize on current consumer shopping behaviors.

Creatively saved the day! They were able to take our project from concept to production so quickly, bringing powerful storytelling and a great creative vision.
